The Dauphin Veterinary Clinic seeks a caring and empathetic animal lover to join our team as a Vet Tech Assistant. As a Tech Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the Technologist Team in caring for our patients while delivering exceptional customer service to their owners. Your role reflects our commitment to treating all clients and patients with respect, compassion, and empathy.

Important tasks performed by the reception team include:

** Maintaining a comfortable and sanitary environment for all patients

** Exercising, weighing, restraining, feeding, watering, and medicating patients.

** Perform veterinary reception and administrative duties, including triaging incoming phone calls, invoicing, scheduling appointments and maintaining medical and communication logs.

** Clinic maintenance, including extensive cleaning, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.

** Communicate with clients using a professional, cheerful, and helpful attitude, using knowledge of preventative health care recommendations to accurately answer questions and relay doctor’s or technologist’s instructions and information.
